CHIP BLANTON & JOEY HAYMON : EQUINE SCI
Equine Science is a one-credit course that enables students to become knowledgeable in the areas of caring for and managing horses. Equine health, nutrition, safety, reproduction, and selection are major instructional areas. Students learn about tools, tack, and facitlities necessary for proper care of horses. Students develop leadership skills, realize personal growth, and are better prepared for career success through the knowledge gained and skills acquired in this course.

Water Monitoring

The Second Tuesday of EVERY Month: Meet in the parking lot beind the Ag room, 

simulated grazing test
Equine science students are conducting a simulated grazing test using annual rye grass grown in the greenhouse. plants will be clipped at 10%,50% and 90% to simulate different grazing practices.
